ENGL 3063 Hispanic American Literatures

Study of the writings by Hispanic American authors from a diversity of national origins: Cuban, Mexican, Puerto Rican. From early chronicles and oral traditions to contemporary forms of literature, the course examines Hispanic American themes relating to historical, cultural, and societal issues, such as sense of place, oral tradition, family, love, migration and exile, gender, identity.
