ENGL 3060 Asian American Literatures

Study of the writings by Asian American authors from a diversity of national origins: Chinese, Filipinx, Hawaiian, Japanese, Korean, Pakistani, Vietnamese, and others. In drama, fiction, memoirs, and poetry, the course examines Asian American themes relating to historical, cultural, and societal issues, such as immigration, social conflicts, family, gender, identity.
