BUS 4192 Leadership and Project Management

Going beyond project managers to being project leaders, apply a blend of technical competencies and skills for planning and controlling projects while understanding interpersonal variables that drive successful team project outcomes. Examine the project management life cycle, defining project parameters, matrix management challenges, effective project management tools and techniques, and the role of a project manager as an organizational leader, with or without authority, coaching members and leveraging the combined talents of group members to function as high-performing project teams. Apply ethical principles, creating a motivating team atmosphere to successfully lead and manage a project on time and on budget.
