BUS 4030 Intermediate Accounting I

This course presents an in-depth study of financial accounting principles and financial statement preparation. Accounting for cash and receivables, fixed assets, intangible assets, current liabilities, long-term liabilities, equity, investments, income taxes, pension and postretirement benefits, and leases are covered. Students also learn how time value of money is applied to assets and liabilities through accounting works. Prerequisite: BUS 2003.
