BUS 4114 Organization Development and Leading Change

Examine factors impacting change in the workplace from multiple perspectives. Explore processes for leading organizational change, and foundations of the field of Organization Development (OD) effecting system-wide improvements to achieve goals and organizational effectiveness. Engage in various activities to illustrate the skills involved in assessing, planning and implementing organizational change. Experiment using intervention tools to assess organizational systems programs and implement change efforts that garner support of organization members. Practice leadership facilitation skills including interpersonal awareness, personal power and influence, and process consultation capabilities to be an effective change agent.
