BUS 4029 Financial Statement Analysis

This course is recommended for students who wish to pursue careers in accounting, consulting, banking, and investment management. Students will learn how firms communicate through financial statements and how investors assess firm value. Accounting standards and financial theories are the prerequisites, but the integration of accounting and financial fundamentals advances students from the role of information producer to the level of decision makers in the arena of investment where interpreting financial reports and valuing firm equities are musts. Prerequisite: BUS 2003.
