POL 3411 Constitutional Criminal Procedure
This course addresses various constitutional criminal procedure issues such as 4th Amendment unreasonable searches and seizures, 5th Amendment compulsory self-incrimination and double jeopardy, and 6th Amendment trial by jury and assistance of counsel. In addition to exploring the development of the Supreme Court�s treatment of constitutional criminal procedure, the course will also venture into an analysis of broader social, economic, and political issues within the criminal justice system.
