CLQ 3170 C7/PL: Contemporary European Politics
In this course, students will be introduced to comparative politics by examining the political institutions of selected European countries. The emphasis will be on understanding the impact of different political systems on the development of national social policies. The role of the European Union in harmonizing social policies and varying responses to current economic and demographic challenges will also be examined. Co-requisite
