BUS 4081 Managing Global Human Resources
Examine organizations' superior performance, integrating human resource activities to strategically meet business objectives in a global business environment. Consider globalization and multinational human resource management issues in the context of overseas subsidiaries, international joint ventures, international mergers and acquisitions, and talent management in domestic and overseas locations. Examine key features of high-performance employee development systems, including recruitment, selection, evaluation, and continuous learning/training; international and multi-cultural differences in human resource practices and the role of cultural intelligence. Legal issues in personnel management, employee recruitment using the internet, knowledge management creation, ethical management of human resources, and performance support systems are evaluated. Prerequisite:
