RLGN 3181 Social Justice: Jewish, Christian, and Muslim Foundations

Who are you? Who should you be? Who should each of us be for each other? With significant similarities, even among differences, both within themselves and between each other, Judaism, Christianity, and Islam convey the fundamental equality of humans as beings made in the image of God. Building on that foundation, this course will explore some of the various ways that these religions have argued for our fundamental responsibility to care for each other, our natural environment, and the socio-economically marginalized among us.
