OT 6127 Occupations of Adults and Seniors II

Second in a three-semester series of courses focusing on occupational therapy practice with adults and seniors experiencing physical disabilities. Content covered includes healthy aging and neurorehabilitation. Builds on concepts introduced in the first semester course. Includes synthesis, application, and evaluation of integrated theories and clinical reasoning for occupation-based interventions. Considers the OT domain and process, client factors, and client performance skills and patterns as defined by the Occupational Therapy Practice Framework. Includes use of standardized and non-standardized functional assessments, intervention planning, and documentation - 3 lecture hours. Prerequisites: OT 4027/OTL 4027 or OT 6027/OTL 6027.
