OT 6019 Culture, Diversity and Ethics in Occupational Therapy

An exploration of cultural and diversity issues in occupational therapy. Consideration of larger social and global issues related to democracy and equity’s influence on health and delivery of healthcare services. Designed to foster cultural competency and humility, social responsibility, and advocacy skills as critical competencies for occupational therapists - 3 lecture hours. Prerequisites: OT 4012/OTL 4012 or OT 6012/OTL 6012.
