OT 6121 Research in Occupational Therapy I: Evidence-Based OT Practitioner
First in a series of four courses. Introduction to the research process and its application to evidence based practice. This course will guide students through the process of effectively interpreting and critiquing research evidence to inform practice decisions. Course content includes exploration of traditions, methods, ethics, outcome measures, and statistical analyses applicable to OT research. Students will apply knowledge and skills to conduct and disseminate the results of a critically appraised topic that addresses a clinical question posed by local practitioners - 4 lecture hours.
