HONO 3204 Virtuosity: Cultivating Moral/Ethical Character
What does it mean to be morally virtuous? What are the sources of moral value? What is the scope of morality? How does one cultivate a virtuous character as a basis for moral behavior? This course will explore a range of responses to these questions, paying particular attention to the notion that moral virtue ought to be understood as a kind of intellectual and practical expertise, or, in other words, as virtuosity.
