Post-Baccalaurate Premedical Certificate
The Post-Baccalaureate Premedical Program is a non-degree certificate program designed to help students successfully apply to medical school and/or other health professions schools. This program has two tracks: Academic Enhancer and Career Changer.
Students in the program will meet the science requirements for most health professional schools, according to the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC), the American Association of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine (AACOM), American Dental Association (ADA), AACP American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP) and American Academy of Physician Assistant (AAPA). Students are encouraged to check the individual school’s website for updated information on specific programs.
Program Learning Outcomes
Students will:
- Comprehend and master fundamental scientific concepts and laboratory skills in the biological and physical sciences necessary to be successful at the health professional school level.
- Be prepared to take national entrance exams such as the Medical College Admissions Test (MCAT).
