ENGL 3012 Neo/Victorians: Fiction & Film

A study of how Victorian ideas have persisted into the present through an exploration of fiction and film. Topics include how we think about scientific and social progress, media, psychology, gender, race, and national belonging through an investigation of Victorian novels as well as fiction, film, and television of the present.
