BUS 4055 Financial Markets and Institutions

This course examines the transfer of funds in the economic system through financial intermediaries. Topics include the flow of funds, capital markets, debt, liquidity, nature of money in the US economy, the innovations and interrelationships of institutions within the changing financial services industry, government regulations, and agencies, and the impact of public policy on economic transfers. Prerequisite: BUS 3013 or equivalent.
