ASPP 5299 Final Comprehensive Oral Examination

The Final Comprehensive Oral Examination is offered in Spring and Fall each year and taken in the MA students' final semester. It is only for MPC track students of the MA. The oral exam includes presenting a case conceptualization, teaching a mental skills technique and responding to an ethical vignette. All of the Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs) are assessed by two examiners during the exam. Preparation for this examination occurs in the ASPP 5298 (Final Comprehensive Written Examination) course. Students may retake all or portions of the oral examination (according to the examiners) a maximum of twice during the semester. If a student does not pass in the 2nd attempt, then they will need to register again the following semester.This is a Pass/No Pass course.
