OT 6155 Professional Identity V: The Prepared OT Professional
The final course in the professional identity series focuses on equipping students for their transition into the workforce and successful entry into professional practice. Students will create a comprehensive job search strategy, including résumé and interview preparation, and design a personalized plan for preparing for the licensing exam and obtaining licensure. The course will also guide students in developing a long-term professional development plan to support lifelong learning, career growth, and contributions to the occupational therapy profession. Emphasis will be placed on readiness for independent practice and a commitment to maintaining reflective practice, resilience, advocacy, and engagement throughout their careers. 1 lecture hour.
