NURS 3106 Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing
This course introduces nursing concepts related to psychiatric mental health nursing. The unique needs of clients across the lifespan with mental health issues are explored - 2 theory hours. Successful completion of both the theory and clinical components of the course with a letter grade of ‘C+’ (2.3) or higher is necessary to pass the course. Prerequisites: Successful completion of the previous semester’s Nursing course work with a ‘C+’ (2.3) or higher and successful completion of or concurrent enrollment in the Examined Life CORE requirement with a grade of 'C' (2.0) or higher, eligible for junior 1 level standing in the Nursing program.
