NURS 3040 Pathophysiology/Pharmacology II
Students evaluate current evidence in pharmacotherapeutic interventions for management of pathophysiological alterations across the lifespan. Informatics and safety-enhancing technologies are examined for their use in patient teaching and medication administration - 2 theory hours. A letter grade of ‘C+’ (2.3) or higher is necessary to pass the course. Prerequisites: successful completion of the previous semester’s Nursing course work with a ‘C+’ (2.3) or higher and successful completion of or concurrent enrollment in
NURS 2040 and the Examined Life CORE requirement with a grade of 'C' (2.0) or higher, and eligible for junior 1 level standing in the Nursing program.
