HCS 4200 Adulting: Part II

Adulting: Part II is the 0.5-unit course that includes the content from the second half of the 1-unit Adulting course. This course focuses on developing the key skills students will need as they approach graduation and begin to navigate a series of critical life decisions. In order to succeed in the world beyond the classroom, students need access to a basic body of knowledge in four key personal arenas: finance, health, career, and relationships. In a lab-type structure emphasizing hands-on, in-class activities and coaching, this course focuses on translating classroom skills into life and workplace; developing awareness of one’s own strengths and aptitudes; as well as practical information and strategies for approaching major life issues. Recommended for seniors.
