HCS 4100 Adulting: Part I
A unique course that supports your path into adulthood, guides you through coping with the changes in our current lives and teaches concrete adulting skills to help you navigate these unusual times. We will touch on the four critical components of adulting: work/managing money, play/hobbies, love/relationships and physical/mental health in a time of social distancing. How can you approach finding a job or internship in this current job climate? How are you managing money in a time of quickly changing financial situations? What are ways to manage physical and mental health? You are encouraged to complete the second .5 unit in the fall semester to continue to build on these skills and design the post-college life that you want. This course uses the platforms Moodle and Zoom and is mostly a synchronous course. Students need reliable internet access. For transfer or returning students only.
