HIST 1210 History Lab: U.S. History to the 1890s

This course explores United States history of the pre-Columbian and colonial eras; the American Republic before and after the Civil War; and the impact of the Industrial Revolution on United States society throughout the 19th century to the dawn of the 20th century, with special attention to the contested nature of the historical narrative when it intersects with issues of race, class and gender. This course includes a community-based learning project; meets nursing requirements.
