Sports Management (Minor)
The Continuing growth of the sports industry and its importance to numerous sponsors and institutions created demand for the systematic study of sports management practices. The growth of the sports industry has created an increasing demand for well-trained managers. The Sports Management Minor at Dominican University of California addresses this need. The Sports Management Minor is open to all undergraduate students and helps prepare students for entry-level management careers in the sports industry.
Program Learning Outcomes
Students who complete the minor in Sports Management will demonstrate:
- An understanding of employment opportunities available within this field.
- A knowledge of the business management skills of value in building a successful career in the sports and recreation market.
