PROGRAM LEARNING OUTCOMES:
- Critically evaluate the impact of educational policies and practices with attention to equity, social justice, and quality of outcomes for diverse students (including differences in class, race, ethnicity, culture, language, sexual orientation, gender identity, and ability).
- Synthesize professional literature and other resources to develop a theoretical framework for advancing educational policies or teaching practices.
- Conduct action-research that builds on the knowledge and assets of stakeholders in the field to better understand educational issues in a specific context.
- Effectively communicates new understandings and knowledge in an area of specialization in oral, electronic, and written modes.
- Apply leadership, professional, and teamwork skills to improve educational policies or practices based on research findings.
