KIN 4995 Research Assistant: Kinesiology
This course provides supervised applied research experience supporting academic program assessment, institutional research, or scholarly projects within the Natural Sciences. Students engage in data collection, organization, analysis, documentation, and reporting under faculty mentorship. Activities may include managing datasets, assisting with evaluation of learning outcomes, contributing to research planning, and preparing summaries or presentations. Emphasis is placed on analytical thinking, research ethics, professional communication, and project management. Course content and expectations are defined through a learning agreement approved by the supervising faculty member and department.
