Health Humanities (Minor)
Health Humanities is an interdisciplinary minor that builds bridges between health, humanities, literature, the arts, and psychology. Its mission is to provide students with opportunities for holistic insight into the multiple dimensions of healing. Courses allow students to pursue the minor in consort with their chosen major.
Program Learning Outcomes
Students will demonstrate:
- How the arts and humanities inform our understanding of illness and health,
- The role that psychology and ethics plays in health,
- Creative thinking and artistic practice in understanding illness and health in communities and in oneself.
