MBAH 5408 Clinical Decision Making

This course introduces students to the nature of clinical process and decision making in clinical care. The course provides context for understanding the relationship between and among clinicians in the rendering of care to patients. It explores the nature of clinical care itself. Specifically, following the model of case-based learning, and by participating in clinical presentation and analysis, students as administrators will gain an understanding of the process, priorities, motivations, strengths, and limitations of clinical decision making. Students will also broaden their knowledge of and fluency in clinical terminology and communication.
