MUS 1001 Materials of Music and Performing Arts

This course will include study of music fundamentals and beginning harmony, as well as sight singing and ear training. It will also include an introductory survey of music history, world music and selected performing arts disciplines. The course will culminate by creating a composition, using musical elements for expressive effect and presenting/performing it for the class audience.
