GPH 3350 Health Research Methods
A hands on application of study design theory to health research methodologies and the role of evidence-based data collection and interpretation. Includes quantitative and qualitative designs and methods, such as interviews, focus groups, observations, systematic reviews and meta-analyses, pre/post tests, cross-sectional investigations, and randomized controlled trials. The course explores the peer reviewed literature in order to prepare students for their senior capstone experience - 4 lecture hours. Prerequisite:
BIO 3340 and
BIO 3345.
