EDU 5255 Pedagogical Preparation II
This course is designed to support you during your student teaching or intern teaching. We will integrate educational theory with classroom reality to create standards based units while using a variety of instructional strategies. We will also discuss and evaluate assessment methods, student accommodation and modification plans, diversity issues in the classroom, the role of parents and the community in the learning process, and how to use various resources in a meaningful and effective manner. Concurrently, candidates participate in fieldwork experiences to apply their developing understandings of teaching and learning.
