EDU 3001 Complexities of Teaching in Schools 2

Students preparing to be teachers examine: classroom management strategies and current issues related to social justice, equity, and diversity. Students continue constructing the "Becoming a Teacher" website and focus on specific TPEs while actively engaged in 20 hours of fieldwork in classrooms. This course also prepares students to teach History/SS in the school using California’s academic frameworks and standards and to integrate multiple subjects, including educational technology. Spring semesters. Prerequisite: EDU 3000: Complexities of Teaching in Schools 1 or instructor approval.
