BIO 2900 Ecology and Evolution
Topics to be studied will include: micro-macro evolution, adaptation, speciation, population growth and regulation, competition, predator-prey interactions, symbiosis, succession, energy and nutrient flow in ecosystems, food webs, conservation, and environmental impacts - 3 lecture hours. Prerequisites:
BIO 1000/
BIO 1005 with a grade of ‘C-’ (1.7) or better.
BIO 2900/
BIO 2905 are CORE Equivalent Courses which may be substituted for the Science for Global Citizens CORE requirement.
