PSY 1150 Freshman Seminar: Foundations of Critical Thinking in Psychology

Review and practice critical thinking skills necessary to evaluate psychological information and skills needed to write in psychology. Topics include evaluating contrasting viewpoints, formulating research hypotheses and developing literature reviews. Introduction to the use of the digital portfolio within the psychology major and selection of academic works to include in the portfolio.
