HUM 5810 Modern Japan
This seminar incorporates the study of Modern Japanese literature with the study of Modern Japanese history via an interdisciplinary dialogue. Since neither literature nor history forms outside of the influence of the other, this course aims to break down disciplinary barriers for a more nuanced and comprehensive understanding of Modern Japan.
