OT 5221 Interprofessional Communication in the Health Profession
This one unit course will include working through multiple case studies of conditions commonly seen in acute rehabilitation setting. Through guided discussions and collaborative 3D activities (debriefing, defusing and discovering), OT and nursing students will learn to appreciate the professional differences and similarities, and develop a common language to strengthen interprofessional communication in healthcare settings.
