OT 6016 Occupations of Children & Adolescents I

First in a two-semester series of courses focusing on occupational therapy for children and adolescents. Content includes study of development of occupations and the interaction of activity and disability from birth through 18 years of age; child, family and strengths-based clinical reasoning; theoretical frameworks and application to occupation; evaluation process, assessment selection, administration, scoring and interpretation of criterion and norm-referenced results; interprofessional collaboration in early intervention and school-based services - 3 lecture hours. Prerequisites: OT 4012/OTL 4012 or OT 6012/OTL 6012, and OT/OTL  4014 or OT/OTL 6014, and OT 4010 or OT 6010, and OT 4028/OTL 4028 or OT 6028/ OTL 6028.
