OT 3016 Occupations of Children and Adolescents I

First in a two-semester series of courses focusing on occupational therapy for children and adolescents. Content includes study of development of occupations and the interaction of activity and disability from birth through 18 years of age; child, family and strengths-based clinical reasoning; theoretical frameworks and application to occupation; evaluation process, assessment selection, administration, scoring and interpretation of criterion and norm-referenced results; interprofessional collaboration in early intervention and school-based services - 3 lecture hours. Prerequisites: OT 3012/ OTL 3012 and OT 3014/ OTL 3014, OT 3010, and OT 3028/ OTL 3028.
