EDU 5175 Applied Literacy Pedagogy
Taken concurrently with student teaching, this course provides practice-based preparation in effective literacy instruction aligned with Teacher Performance Expectation (TPE) 7. All assignments are completed in candidates' student teaching classrooms in collaboration with mentor teachers. Candidates will also develop the knowledge and skills necessary for successful completion of the CalTPA Literacy Cycle.
