Student Rights

A student who believes there has been a false accusation of plagiarism or cheating, or that the instructor’s resolution of the alleged incident is unjust, may appeal, in writing, directly to the department Chair. If the accusation was made by the department Chair, then the appeal should be sent directly to the Academic Dean of the appropriate School. The appeal should follow the process outlined in the section entitled Grievance Procedures in the Student Handbook.
