CRWR 5451 Mentorship 1:PW:Narrative Medicine
Mentorship 1 students delve into the world of storytelling and testimonial theater. They explore how testimonial theater and related forms are powerful tools for expressing the lived experiences of individuals and communities, and how it can serve as a means for social change and healing. Regular writing exercises that arise from course materials are aimed towards generating new works for the end-of-semester portfolio. Every four weeks students will submit original creative writing to the mentor for feedback. Students will also engage in monthly online discussion / workshops with their peers.
