OT 6153 Professional Identity III: OT as Change Agent
Third in a four-semester long series on professionalism in OT. Focus on policy and regulatory issues related to the health and wellbeing of individuals and populations. Students will explore systems and funding mechanisms within healthcare, education, and community-based organizations and their impact on OT practice. This course provides foundational knowledge for effective advocacy as a part of OT practice - 2 lecture hours. Prerequisites:
