OT 3011 Conditions in Occupational Therapy

This course focuses on the study of the etiology, clinical course, prognosis, and basic management of conditions commonly seen in occupational therapy practice, including orthopedic, neurological, general medical and surgical diagnoses, and conditions covered in DSM-V. Emphasis is on developing critical thinking skills for anticipating and providing needed occupational therapy services - 2 lecture hours. Prerequisite: Admission to the MSOT program.
