PSY 3044 Suicide: Prevention & Intervention

Using both lecture and classroom discussion, this course will examine subtle and overt warning signs of suicidal behavior. Appropriate levels of intervention will be paired with the degree of threat so that students will learn how to safely intervene. A variety of perspectives on this sensitive topic will be thoughtfully explored, with careful attention to a broad range of cultural issues.
