HCS 3455 Health Humanities Seminar

The Health Humanities Seminar is an integrative course in which students contemplate the roles that science, arts, and humanities play in the process of illness and healing. Looking at illness and healing via a narrative lens is the focus of this course; memoir and other non-fiction narratives spotlight mental and physical illness from the perspective of the doctor and/or the patient's lived experience.
