BIO 4410 Molecular Cell Biotechnology

A lecture and project-based course that focuses on the molecular and genetic tools used to analyze and modify genetic material and their applications in biotechnology, medicine, and drug development. Topics will include sequencing techniques, PCR, cloning, the manipulation of gene and protein expression, DNA and protein microarrays, RNAi silencing and other current technology used in the study of molecular biology - 3 lecture hours. Prerequisite: BIO 2800/BIO 2805.
