BIO 3320 Physical Education for Schools

This course explores theoretical topics from lecture related to movement knowledge and skills, self-image and personal and social development will be addressed through active exploration and reflection. Topics include: basic movement skills, movement forms, health and physical fitness, physical and psychological development, and social, cultural and historical aspects of movement forms - 1 lecture hour or alternative/compressed timeframe. Prerequisites: Required for Education Studies majors, non-majors require instructor approval; Concurrent enrollment with BIO 3300 required, or taken separately with Instructor approval.
