BIO 2900 Ecology and Evolution

Topics to be studied will include: population growth and regulation, competition, predator-prey interactions succession, energy and nutrient flow in ecosystems, food webs, conservation, environmental impacts, adaptation, speciation and micro-macro evolution - 3 lecture hours. Prerequisites: BIO 1000/BIO 1005 with a grade of ‘C’ (2.0) or better. BIO 2900/BIO 2905 are CORE Equivalent Courses which may be substituted for the Science for Global Citizens CORE requirement.
