ART 1144 Beginning Graphic Illustration

This course investigates the relationship between the tradition of drawing and the computer, as well as the role of illustration in graphic design. Basic principles of composition involving line, value, space, and texture are investigated through a series of projects that use both traditional media such as paper and pencil as well as computer based media such as Adobe Illustrator®, Photoshop®, and a Wacom® tablet. **Additional fee applies.**
